Brother Under 35s Quilt Competition

Last weekend the entries for the Brother Under 35s Quilt Competition were displayed at the Concordia Art Gallery in Sydney. Prize winners were announced at a presentation on Saturday. Among those who attended was 6-year old Amelie Battye who won 3rd place in the Primary School category for her quilt Fairy Flowers. Also in attendance was Georgia Kennedy who won 2nd place in the Primary School category for her quilt Birdy Boy; and we were joined by Leigh Davenport Jurd who took out 2nd place in the 25-25 category for her quilt Light in the Darkness.

We were pleased to work with The Quilters’ Guild of NSW and Brother Australia again on this wonderful initiative for young quilters, and we were thrilled with the diversity of creative entries we received.
